Longeracemine, an unprecedented C-7/C-9 bonding alkaloid from Daphniphyllum longeracemosum

摘要A phytochemical investigation of the fruits of Daphniphyllum longeracemosum K. Rosenthal led to the isolation of a novel fused-hexacyclic alkaloid, longeracemine (1), along with a new one, demethyl calyciphylline A (2). Their structures were established on the basis of comprehensive spectra associated with quantum chemical analysis. Bioassay firstly indicated that Daphniphyllum alkaloid 1 can stimulate wheat shoot elongation.
