中文摘要: The present paper provides the following to elucidate the characteristics of mosses from Menglun Area in Xishuangbanna. 1. The moss-flora of Menglun Area consists of 127 species (including varieties), belonging to 70 genera, 29 families, of which 8 species are new to China (viz. Campylopus ericoides Fissidens francii, Pohlia gedeana, Pterobryopsis nematosa, Calyptothecium prainii, Neckeropsis exserta, Entodontopsis wightii and Sematophyllum humile) and 1 (viz. Macromitrium yunnanense L. Zhang) to science. The statistical studies of distribution patterns of families, genera and species imply that the nature of bryo-floristic of Menglun Area is of the northern border of Tropical Asia. 2. Bryo-ecological studies shows, (1). Under different forest type, there is different moss combination, so the combination of mosses can be a complex indicator of forest type. For example, Leucophanes candidum, Barbella enervis, Chaetomitriopsis glaucocarpa, Pseudobarbella levieri and Floribundaria thuidiodis etc. indicate the valley rain forest. (2). 7 type life-forms can be distinguished in Menglun Area, i.e. turfs, cushions, mats, wefts, pendants, tails and fans. Among them, wefts is dominant, then turfs and pendants. (3). 4 main catalogies of moss vegetation (i.e. Petrophytia, Geophytia, Epixylophytia and Epiphyllitia) can be recognized in this area, of which Epixylophytia is the most abundant with 57.5% of total community types, such as Leucomietum, Pseudobarbelletum etc.
