摘要Seed Plants of China (SPCH) the first botany database, which included all distribution information (vertical and horizontal) of the seed plants (363 families, 3427 genera and 32308 species) in China and the taxon list in each province, county, longitude and latitude all over China, was described and how do the botanists use it in the study of the seed plants biodiversity in the present paper. The author also introduced her idea about the new research areas and the developing directions of botany database here.
