Funding Project:This dissertation is composed of two chapters. Reported in the chapter 1 was the investigation on the chemical constituents of Ganoderma sinensis. In the chapter 2, we summarized some chemical constituents isolated from the genus Ganoderma and their bioactivity.Chapter 1. Study on the Chemical Constituents of Ganoderma sinensis, Ganoderm sinensis is originated in China and Japan. Our investigation of the chemical constituents of the fruiting body of the fungus resulted in the isolation of 44 compounds including triterpenes, steroides, and alkaloids, were purified and identified based on spectral methods. Among them, 12 compounds were showed to be new ones, including 10 lanosta-triterpenoids and 2 alkaloids. Herein, the isolation and structure elucidation of these compounds by spectroscopic analysis are described.Chapter 2. Literature Review & Summary of the Genus Ganoderma, This review covers 97 literatures published between 1980 and 2010. Over 100 naturally compounds from the genus Ganoderma were presented. Triterpenoids are one of several important bioactive constituents of G. lucidum and have been reported to exhibit various pharmaceutical effects including antitumor and anti-HIV-1 protease activity, etc. Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides (GLP) are also one of several important bioactive constituents of G. lucidum and have been reported to exhibit various pharmaceutical effects including antitumor, hepatoprotective activity and immunoregulatin activity, etc.
