摘要 | The native North American western red cedar, Thuja plicata, is of high economic and ornamental value. It is listed as threatened on the IUCN Red List. In this study we report the complete plastome of T. plicata, which was found to be 131,118bp in length and encodes 118 genes, including 84 protein-coding genes, 4 ribosomal RNAs and 30 transfer RNAs. Seven protein-coding genes contained one intron each and two genes (rps12 and ycf3) contained two introns each. Phylogenetic analysis recovered T. plicata as sister to T. standishii with strong support. |
